how about a Halloween themed TMMAC background for this week?

I was thinking it would be kinda neat if we slightly changed the TMMAC background sometimes like Google does for different themes.

So i made a Halloween themed background.

@I Wild Each It , @Splinty what do you guys think about using a Halloween theme BG for this week until Halloween comes to a close.

This is the empty background:

and this is how it looks when the forum is in the front.

I put it in place. It will take sometime (unless you want to jump on it) to put in place the responsive design versions. That is only the main desktop. I run three different sizes for responsive device sizes.

Then I can then line up everything. I'm not sure how wide the forum looks or how high it gets in those sizes.

I don't. It can be seen by simply dragging a web browser width smaller and smaller slowly.

The wifi hardware on my phone is out of whack so i cant check it myself either. hmm..

if it was all proportional i could do it, but the gloves move ever slow slightly in the sizes for me to know high the browser gets in respect to the glove and how much real estate is available on the i sides..

oh well guess we'll figure this out later. Thanks for the reply though.

yeah sure. Can you PM me for where you want me to send it. I'll clean up the layers a bit to make it easier to view and reduce file size.

and when you get by your tools, can you send me the screenshot of how the forum lines up in each of the 3 sizes for future reference. Then I can make them for Christmas and stuff too.

yeah it works good in the desktop but i guess the people on cell phones and ipads might be seeing a different background with the other sizes you guys use.

i lined it up with your screenshots so hopefully everything displays properly without the forum blocking the banner. let me know if anything goes wonky on your end.

I did put them in place, but due to the number of graphics, some things are cut off. Part of the trick with responsive design seems to be to build some buffer room since devices of difference sizes use the same media query.

Your pumpkins are getting clipped by the forum. If you decided you want to edit it, I would resize them and anchor towards the glove and logo.

Anything below the site logo or significantly off the glove/logo risks clipping
