So many fucked up people live in the Okanagan now. I know a guy that is a guard at the prison in Oliver and he said once they get released they pick either Penticton or Kelowna and they just stay there and destroy everything.
When I moved to Penticton in 2019 there were very few retards and when I left there were hundreds. I saw a meth-head sleeping on a mattress that was on fire in a Burger King parking lot at like 7 in the morning. You had to be careful when you were driving anywhere because they would dart out into traffic all of the time.
The city bought an older hotel and transformed it into crackhead housing. It was surrounded by fencing and it looked like the walking dead was being filmed. It was right on Main Street too. What a total fucking disaster.

it sucks that the government bought up all the small motels and hotels and turned them in to housing . now there are fucking retards living everywhere and there are affordable places for families to stay when they are visiting the Okanagan . i drive by the old Oasis Inn and it is full of weirdos . they have a pool and a hot tub and when they are bored they go over to the Capri mall and show somebody their dick or shoplift from the stores . we have built so much housing for them, given up all the motels , given them a tent city with the city coming in to do monthly clean ups, given the 3 separate tiny home sites and i still have some cunt squatting in my parking lot . the more we do for them the more they expect and the more they take for granted
literally . we took a homeless census maybe 5 years ago. we had 300 homeless. we built several apartment buildings to house them , provided a couple hundred tiny homes , bought up all the hotels etc......and now we have 300 homeless people living on the street . if you build it they will come
it is usually pretty quiet over here . these 2 buildings are full of old people and foreigners . all the shit in the city is usually on the other side of the highway . the city just opened up a pedestrian overpass that allows them to bring their garbage over here now
