I feel like a lot of these groups start out with the best intentions and than just get lost after awhile. IMO it is never good to put color in front of anything. Black lives matter, BET things like that dont help. If there was White lives matter we know how that would go, or White entertainment TV we know how that would go. Things like that all need to just come to an end.
The argument for BET being TV itself is already WET.
You have one year where Hollywood is shaming white people for white nominations(Hollywood itself), next protest is womanizing, bigotry etc.(what their industry is all about, while intending a dig at Trump), and the very next year the biggest uncle Tom in world history(Oprah), talkin' about #metoo, when it's her pals, her industry, and her greed & selfishness that keeps her in the closet until the closet bursts open.

Im also beginning to think that Trump is not really who we want as president. Although I feel what he wants to do in regards to our country is right on in terms of foreign policy, tax cuts, etc but the guy is a fucking idiot and so damn arrogant Im beginning to not be able to defend him on issues. I wish we had a humble Trump in some ways mixed with the guy he is today. We need toughness and we need a good economy etc but we dont need a guy who at every turn continues to just pat himself on the back but never ever talks about what still needs to be done and what is not working.

I'm definitely in the latter category. Alt left and alt right are just different ways of saying left and right though, but to the extreme of both. And it seems like most people from either side simply label the other as "Alt" whatever when they don't agree. I just can't remember a time in my life where people were more divided and throwing labels on others this much. Like if you don't agree with one policy from one side, you are labeled as a supporter of the other side. I'm young but yeah. I think it's all so ridiculous, insane tribalism (Rogan style)
