They're either a major MMA promotion or a regional circuit. They need to stop trying to be both. They are on national TV. They have the money to pay guys better and not force them to sell tickets.

But they're booking 18 fights so that they can get 10 extra ticket vendors.

And that's bullshit.
You don’t even watch the number 2 promotion I’m the world. It makes no sense that if they have 11 fights instead of 18 that would make them more legit. If they have to pay all those fighters 10,000 they’ll simply cut them out.

The truth is you don’t care about Bellator and hope that they go out of business. Please just admit that so people can get context to your opinion about them.

Preposterous. The UFC being the only major promotion would be a nightmare.

Cool I expect too hear your opinion on the Bellator 200 this Friday. Also put June 29th on your calendar for 201. I’ll be at that event , so I’ll be curious how the prelims come across that night on the Bellator app.

Silva had fights like that.

It went- great performance again James Irvin= yay, everybody loves him. Shitty performances against Cote and Leites= boo, we hate him. Matrix performance against Griffin= omg, he's the greatest. Lackluster performance against Maia= boo, we hate him again (Dana refuses to place the belt on him afterwards). 4 bad rounds against Sonnen= booooooo come from behind sub in the fifth oh whoops nevermind we're all back in the bandwagon.

MVP is a counter striker. He dances in front of you for the same reason Silva was being an asshole to Maia- he wants to piss you off and get you off your game plan, get you to charge forward with reckless abandon.

He (MVP) may have another fight like the one he had against Gonzalez in his career, but against Caveman it's not likely.

Everything you said is accurate except that Anderson was already running shit as the champ when he put on his ridiculous dance battles. Not still trying to establish himself.

True, but my point is that MMA fans are fickle. A few good performances against good opponents and all will be forgiven.

I'm not saying he should have fought absolute killers, but he sandbagged for a long time, he may have missed the boat when it comes to any breakout years.

I hope he puts on a good show against Caveman. Too much show/ego with nothing big in recent memory for the casuals and he could end up like Rashad where people just don't like him for far longer than really is justified. Definitely a "what have you done lately" world we're in. He's must see tv for me but another dance battle without caving in a forehead and he could lose a lot of folks.

I don't think it has to come to that. They can have 14 fights and pay the undercard guys decent salaries without forcing them to he ticket vendors.

I get that it happens on the regional circuit. But Bellator isn't the regional circuit.

Half the guys are like 2 and 1, or `1 and 0 or even 0 and 0, you have to look at Bellator main's card as a seperate entity than their prelims, once you do that you will see it makes sense.

The guys pretty entertaining and he's got a fantastic style.

I'd love to see him in the UFC, although, I'm not terribly familiar with his career or Bellator in general.

Does he have the necessary TDD to stop guys in the UFC's WW division?

Caveman is the perfect opponent for him to put on a show.
His striking isn't very clean, he doesn't have a quick shot, and he's tough as hell. He's probably not going to give MVP the chance to be as flamboyant as we've seen as I rekon caveman will be putting the pressure on trying to back mvp up. But I think mvp picks him apart no worries, through length, speed and cleaner strikes.
