Meltzer and Alvarez saying that Cole’s was injured by the apron spot from Fletcher weeks ago but wasn’t as bad as it looked. He was then further injured taking a lariat from Fletcher a couple days ago where he hit his head on the mat. He appeared shook up immediately after the spot and after a short time was able to finish the match without appearing injured. Cole informed TK on Saturday morning of his symptoms. After being evaluated by medical the decision was made to strip him of the belt.
