His low-effort trolls sure are getting all the pajama warriors on here riled up
Pajama Warriors? Do tell.... Who do you consider a pajama warrior here?

And Danis isn't trolling, he truly believes all this shit he speaks.... Part of the reason (along with his actions) that Marcelo pinked him in real life from his academy

Not bad but your last post was stronger on the troll scale. "Low effort" to imply it's easy for him, "all the pajama warriors on here" simple jab to bjj guys who are more familiar with Danis and then "riled up" is the appeal to emotion in case the first 2 didn't quite get them to bite.

I've seen your work, you're capable of more.

He was spouting out about being Bellator's highest paid fighter after getting signed. Do you really think he believes this? He is without a doubt trolling his way to the bank.

He was (and still is, technically) strictly a BJJ competitor who MMA fans were completely unaware of. Now he has talked himself into a spotlight before he has even made his MMA debut, so much so that he has already signed with the #2 organization in the US and was promoted on a Bellator broadcast. How many 0-0 fighters not named C.M. Punk have ever gotten that type of attention?

He has gotten you to dislike him enough to make a thread about him, which continues getting his name out there further. Proving that what he is doing is actually working.

This is a good post assuming you subscribe to the any publicity is good publicity way of thinking. He's of course getting his name out but he's one loss away from being a complete laughing stock who'll be forgotten just as fast. That's the balance of this type of self promotion. Some guys can do it sell, others not so much.

Him getting involved in Bellator solely has to do with his association to Conor McGregor.... They can't get the man, so they got one of his lap dogs to play off his popularity (let's set the over/under on how many times they mention that Dillon is Conor's BJJ coach at 15 in the marketing of his fight). Him acting like Conor in part is trolling MMA fans to a certain extent, I'll give you that. Bellator will take the publicity of a Conor guy for their personal gain all day if he can potentially bring any sort of Conor attention their way.

However this thread I started was about Jake Shields clowning Dillon on his stupid pictures (in attempts to promote their match at SUG 4).... In regards Dillon in the BJJ community, he truly feels by MULTIPLE accounts that he's the best BJJ guy in the world, and he acts like a douchebag in trying to back his claim.... It is the primary reason Marcelo temporarily suspended him from his team in hopes that he cuts the bullshit. My dislike of him deals with his disrespect to those in the Jiu Jitsu Community, the fact that he comes off like a douche who tries to hard to act like someone important, well that'll just get him made fun of..... We're all laughing AT him, not with him.

You still train with Rob?

Well, so far any promotion is good promotion. If he can't win fights to back it up, then he will indeed be just a massive joke/meme in the MMA community for months. If that is the case though, he has still put himself in a better position by what he has done so far (I'm sure he will be making more money with Bellator than he would normally in his debut/following fights). Time will only really tell, I don't expect this to all pan out for him that well honestly but it is hard to deny its effect so far.

I agree, McGregor has certainly given him the rub but Danis has been able to take the ball and run with it. Honestly, I don't really know much about Danis nor do I care too. I think his "trash talk" is complete rubbish and that picture with the BB gun.. like seriously? He practically cut-and-pastes Conor-isms. I don't want it to seem like I'm a Dillion Danis mark, I wouldn't even say I'm a fan. I just find it really interesting how he is getting so much attention already without accomplishing anything in MMA.

I actually lost my second job which paid for my training, but I just started a new one though and am going to be able to again next month. It is all I've been able to think about, lol.

Fukin LOL...I literally just was reading this back and forth. I'm not even a Jake fan...but he's got me rolling.
Jake has a great sense of humor...wish we saw more of this side of his personality when he was in his prime.

I saw him drink a starbucks coffee with a straw once...
What do you expect him to do? Sip it straight from the cup and allow the coffee to stain his teeth?

What kind of god damn barbarian are you?!
