I had a big ass digital antenna from Walmart that I put on the pole on the roof for the old clothes hanger type from the 70s. My set up had an inverter and plug. After pointing in the right direction (found on internet) it worked decent enough about 85-90% of the time.

Same reason, local news and regular tv.

Tried that, we are down in a slight valley that fucks with the signals, got the over the air app and tested different locations, couldn't get a signal.
