Yeah, I feel you there on the cocaine, not something to fuck with if you even feel a slight chance it could be a problem, I am in the same boat with you there.
And I haven't done the DMT in extract form but from hearing a friend talk about it, it sounds pretty different; seems to remove you past the point where spiritual growth, on the more human level, is struggled with. I love ayahuasca, not because of the experience, but what it has done for me. The experience (doing it and sometimes San Pedro in its place, every other day for two weeks) was more than rough. I would never want to do it again but I can't imagine where I'd be without it. Some people had a wonderful time and I had some incredibly positive things too, but just what we each need at the time is what it provides.
There seem to be quite a few similarities in the extract and the brew, in motif and tone, but in my experience, so does San Pedro and mushrooms and lsd. To me, I noticed that I could hardly tell much of a difference in how visual, auditory, body, each one had had when I stopped taking them recreationally and used them to try to learn how to be a more mature person.
