Beyond the usual root for team and owning the libs, this is serious fucking business. Even if its just a couple true believers, that's more than enough to make really bad things happen. Wars have started this way, nations have fallen this way, and we aren't exactly on steady ground as it is.

There is a part of me (probably the hippie part) that makes me reflexively uncomfortable when we start leaning into a police state. But, on the other hand, we need an immediate and aggressive door kicking response to even a rumor of this shit going on.

How do we balance a nation of laws and due process with the need to get hyper responsive and smash doors as soon as we can assemble a team?

These are the things that weigh, when I'm thinking about these things.

It's not even depressing that these things happened or that these things will go unpunished. It's knowing that they will definitely happen again because nobody is going to rot in prison for doing them. I hope I am wrong.

I hope we end up with convictions and laws, not accusations and executive orders.

I just have an overwhelming feeling that we are wasting our time on shit that doesn't matter, which won't sit well with voters in 3 years. This could be our last chance to correct course. Less talk, less rallying the voters who already voted for you, we want laws, arrests, and convictions. We want the 3 letter agencies disbanded or at least gutted. We want to he able to afford food and housing and education and transportation.

RICO cases take a long time to build and we're talking about decades of corruption, spanning multiple countries, multiple agencies, involving thousands of individuals. It took Guiliani almost a decade to bring down the mafia with RICO, and he was only dealing w/ 5 bosses & a couple hundred underlings. I remain confident that accountability & justice is coming, and bringing down these criminal organizations will result in prosperity for the average American.

I think we're close to seeing arrests, prosecutions, and the evidence being shown to the world thru public trials & military tribunals. I don't think it's coincidence that Trump is starting to drop hints like this.

Kash was calling for a 24/7 declassification effort as the only thing that would restore faith in our judicial system. I've lost faith that any high profile players will be held to account. Too good to be true.
