To be honest I've never really been a fan of Weidman, but I do feel he is a fantastic fighter at the top of the Middleweight Division.
This. This was great fight to win cash. The size and grappling edge made me believe weidman would be able to fight at his pace and not gas. Im 200lbs but 145s gas me in a round in the gym if i try to keep their pace in wrestling scrambles and then its hell cause they seem twice as fast. But if i use my size and rest in top position like weidman did and slow the pace i can win easily. Fuck letting kelvin set the paceTonight when Chris walks through Kelvin it will show everyone how good Weidman is
He beat him but he didn't dominate him. Mousasi lost R1.he dominated chris
losing round one(debatable and revisionist) and destroying a fighter in round 2 with strikes till he gets desperate and takes knees to the head after taking many clean strikes... clean strikes until he is concussed and doesn't know the month...is absolutely dominatingHe beat him but he didn't dominate him. Mousasi lost R1.
Dominated is start to finish, like, say, Jones vs Shogun. Now THAT was domination.losing round one(debatable and revisionist) and destroying a fighter in round 2 with strikes till he gets desperate and takes knees to the head after taking many clean strikes...is dominating
you can score round 1 till faces are blue...but round two was a clinic....mousasi 101 and you either know it or you don't know MMA
finished easily and that is a fact
Show me where Wideman had his gameplay if full effect and had Gegard hurt or struggling...Moose put it on badly when he wanted and finished that thing a minute after he poured it on...Jones poked and raked and grinded for his finishDominated is start to finish, like, say, Jones vs Shogun. Now THAT was domination.
Mousasi vs. Weidman? Not so much.
