Brock Lesnar has been subjected to his first drug test since putting the wheels in motion to make a return to the UFC for a heavyweight title fight with Daniel Cormier.

Lesnar (5-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC), a former UFC heavyweight champ and current WWE Universal titleholder, will not be eligible to compete inside the octagon until Jan. 8, 2019, after he serves the final six months of his current U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) suspension. That six-month period coincides with the testing period an athlete coming out of retirement must serve before fighting.

After re-entering the testing pool on July 3, Lesnar provided his first sample to USADA this week, according to the latest update on the “Athlete Test History” section of the company website.

Well, that's the end of it. It was interesting while it lasted. Okay, DC vs Stipe II now.

Odd they wouldn't test him immediately once he re-entered the testing pool. Based on his previous positive test, I would think that would be a prerequisite.

Seems like it went like this ..
He applied on 7/3
He was confirmed a week later
He was test a week after that

Since he is in Canada they probably had to set up a tester being in that area (testing whomever else)
I could see things taking a week with both confirming & testing.

Lets see how often he is tested between now & Jan though.

If its 2x a month he will be tested more than most if not all fighters

Dim @Dim can verify that 12 in 6 months is a lot (or not)

How funny would it be if it came back hot.
“Brock, your lab results show you have steroids in your system.”
“Which steroids?”
“All the steroids, Brock. All of them.”

Apparently there was some blood mixed in with his steroid sample.

Its got to be expensive sending a guy out to Saskatchewan to collect samples of piss .its not like there is anyone else around to test for 1500km in either direction
