Pizza hut was the bomb back in the 80's and early 90's.
Their pan pizza tastes the same as it always has. Our school had them shipped in for pizza day. Medium pan, light sauce, extra cheese, and if you're feeling frisky, throw some mushroom and green pepper on top. Great meal for those "I don't care anymore" days.

Naw, their recipes totally changed, we used to make dough and sauce in house now everything comes in frozen and in cans

"Good" frozen pizzas cost almost as much as a cooked one. Of course, not like a high end pizza joint. I cant believe high end pizza places even exist, btw. Its an oxymoron.

Hungry Howie's is making a comeback in South TAYHOSS. I've never had it before. What does OP think about their gourmet crust options and overall pizza XP?

Pizza Hut's supreme pizza was much better when the peppers and onions were diced/chopped instead of sliced. That's when their pizza went to shit for me, as a child. Was that right around the same time?

You would have to wait like an hour an a half if it was busy which was great for me. My folks would both order salad bars in the meantime and hand me a handful of quarters. The salad plates they would come back with would feed all 8 us. Cept me, I didn't like anything besides the butter crackers. More time for Splatterhouse.

Holy Shit, I do not. I do remember dining in at pizza hut. Ours had excite bike and ms pac-man. There was another tabletop machine, but excite bike was my jam, so I mainly stuck with it. The other one of the super mario brothers games and something else.

Rampage, Splatterhouse, table top Pac-Man in Indiana. I dont remember here in TX. The service was great in Indy, though. I remember asking for weird shit like nacho cheese for the breads ticks and the waitress driving to the store and picking it up. By the following week it was unofficially on their menu.

That bike had a serious overheating problem

Probably should have laid off the throttle while in midair lol, but I never did

Price of everything food related is out of control. Fuel prices dropped but food didn't.
I stopped at McDonald's the other day after fishing. Two double cheeseburger plain, large fry, and a Dr Pepper was $18. I couldn't believe my ears.

Pizza Hut used to rule the lands and now I can't even tell you where one is located. How did they fuck that up so badly. They were THE place to call in the 90s.

Dominoes has always tasted like shit and yet they thrive. I don't understan.

Yeah, I keep telling my wife we are to cheap, you would pay 15 dollars for that here, in a full sit down restaurant. Plus you would probably get it quicker, the McDonald's near us it takes for ever with all the door dashers and shit, sitting in the drive thru can easily be 20-30 minutes.

Oh yeah. I was one of three cars and it took all of 15 minutes. I wasn't even far from home either so it felt like even more of a waste.

That said. McDonald's got a bad wrap in the 00's but it's the most consistent place to go. It's always good. You're never getting some fucked up meal out of a McDonald's. It's the same everywhere.

You have to use the app but if you get food poisoning, slip or try and sue them for any reason they aren't liable per TOA lol. Theres also BOGO options in the back of the receipts(survey, I just put any random #s).

Mutant is going to be pissed we turned his fine dining thread into a chain restaurant discussion.
