Mauro seems like a really good dude. Wouldn't expect anything less from him, than to take this in stride when he sees Enson.

The Vicodin (? Not sure about drug) was the culprit in that story and Bas was the instigator. Good story though, favourite was the Bas piss story.

Good memories!
However,Mauro was so high on pain killers that he doesn't seem to remember it right.

This is how it went.
When I got into the room Bas, Mauro, Kevin Randelman, and Mark Colman were in the room. I was standing holding my drink when Mauro came up to me and said, I think I can take you. I thought he was joking until he began shadow boxing towards me getting closer and closer.

I watched him get closer until one of his sloppy jabs hit my drink and spilled it. I looked and Mauro as he continued jabbing at me and must have looked a little upset because Keven began saying, "Oh no, this isn't good, oh no!"

Bas on the other hand started getting excited in anticipation of something happening and began screaming, "Oh yeah! Oh yeah!"

I looked over to at Mauro and said, "Now lick it up like a dog." He took it in stride, plopped on the ground, and began barking like a dog as he crawled over to where my drink spilled. As he was licking the ground I felt he was mocking me so I walked over to him and stomped on the back of his head.

There was a nice pop as his face smashed into the ground and when he got up, his glasses were cracked and blood was flowing out of his nose.

Now every time I see Mauro he always covers his nose and jokingly cowers away from me.

Ha! The memories!

So Rogan stomped on the back of a guys head, who he knew and was a fellow professional, hard enough to smash his face into the ground, break his glasses and make him bleed.

Why? Well because he felt he was being mocked of course! And in front of his fighter friends wah wah wah wah.

Oh ya, and because his drink was spilled, too which his reply was lap it up like a dog. Just was not enough that the guy he eventually head stomped from behind actually got on his hands and knees and barked.

Douchebag?

I'm confused, Was it Rogan or Enson that stomped Mauro's head? Whoever did it is a fucking scumfuck, and if that is fighter bashing, feel free to delete my account.

What good would that do?
If he's the kind of guy who thinks it's funny to stomp the head of a guy half his size, who isn't a trained fighter, who has diagnosed mental illnesses and was under the influence of painkillers, I doubt anyone else's opinion would matter to him.

To me, that story shows him as a bully, and I have always hated bullys.

We dont know ALL of the details. Maybe Mauro used to be an annoying fuck, and was long overdue. Plus, this was a different era when all kinds of shit happened behind the scenes.

Don't know the man personally but I'd say the opposite of what you think.

Being constantly bullied at school by the other kids, Enson was encouraged by his father to react to the bullies, by saying that he would beat him if Enson let himself be bullied, instilling in the young Inoue the fighting spirit he would be known for in his adult life. This bullying also led Enson to tae kwon do and hapkido where he began his martial arts career, changing to Gracie jiu jitsu, under Relson Gracie at the age of 21 (1988).

He had a rough past no doubt but he's done more charity and good will than I'll ever be able to commit to.

Although with some clouds in his past, Enson Inoue is also a charity fund raiser, having contributed greatly towards raising awareness to the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami victims, through his charity walks in Japan.

The fearless fighting style of Enson Inoue brought him the attention of the Yakuza families, Japan’s organized crime. When his brother in law, a highly ranked Japanese wrestler named Norifumi Yamamoto was banned from competing wrestling after he ran into some trouble with the Yakuza, Enson protected him and introduced Yamamoto to mixed martial arts, Norifumi would later become the iconic MMA figure, “Kid” Yamamoto.

On September, 2013 Enson Inoue embarked on a charity walk of over 1,360 miles from Hokkaido to Kyushu, Japan. The walk served the purpose of to raising awareness for the plight of the victims of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. One of the missions was to do the walk with no money, living off the good will of the places he visited, part of the walk was supported by fellow jiu jitsu black belt Mike Fowler.

He has a great book out with some amazing stories of his highs and lows. Best not to judge him on this story alone.
