Not for me to share, most of you know about his constant missing weight, blaming organizations... How many times has he been booted from one org, goes to another, and said "Now you'll see the real Melvin, I'm no longer under control by the (former orgs) rules"? As for the gyms, he's burned bridges and has hopped gyms... Blaming others for his shortcomings.... As for specifics I know, I'm not revealing, but look at his track record.

I have a feeling if Melvin wasn't wired the way he was, ie living a fast paced life, partying, getting in trouble, he wouldn't have a chip on his shoulder needed to train like a professional in order to be at a decent level.

Melvin trained at gyms ive been to before and even though he was still fighting mma he only did mittwork and spared but refused to grapple. I never actually saw him sweat and he only wanted to work with a striking coach during the hours he taught classes so alot of shit had to be moved around to accomodate him.Theres alot of other shit i cant mention and as usual drugs were suspected to be an issue

I got the feeling he thought he was above everyone even though he was a losing streak and couldnt make weight repeatedly. Towards the end of his stay there was alot of rumors of BS going on and then he got KOd in a fight and we never saw him again

One of the owners of the gym was a fat greasy scumbag and he was the one whos friends with melvin. This same jersey greaseball fucked over the other owner, blackzillians and alot of bjj coaches so i knew alot of bullshit was afoot and i stayed loyal to the ones who cared about the fighters and gym family.

There's some great dedicated people down here and also alot of greedy fat fucks who only look out for themselves. You can tell when they are lying cause their lips are moving. 6 months after a gym is closed there are owners who ran outta state still billing people for membership

I know exactly who you are speaking of.... People don't realize, for every up and coming fighter or hot gym, there's a scumbag wannabe Dana White motherfucker who is trying to bleed them dry. This sport is still in it's infancy, and fighters are still trying to figure out how to get paid, if they're organization employees or independent contractors, how to secure sponsorship, and other financial shit that to be honest, there's no real blueprint for since no other sport operates like it. This is why there's so many stories of shady managers and promoters, bad contracts, and other bullshit that fighters deal with
