Wait.. now it is. I had accidentally tapped the gear somewhere along the line and it was no longer working. Just clicked off of it and giphy works again. So that's fun.

Could you move it so that it's beside of something that's probably less used? May eliminate the need to disable it and still keep morons like me from hitting it inadvertantly and not realizing it.I came to ask if that gear is yellow? There's few scenarios where I might need to have that gear used so I haven't disabled it but I kind of thought about doing so
yep. I've been considering doing just that. That's part of the reason I have a vertical separator and why the giphy is on the very end to try to avoid difficulty.Could you move it so that it's beside of something that's probably less used? Unfortunately I have zero control of that at the moment. I'll look into options but I just embed reddit posts and reddit chooses how they are viewed. If they become too annoying too often and I can't find a variable to stop the play, I'll just disable their embed forcing a link click.@Splinty When people post videos from Reddit, they seem to autoplay when I am on PC. It's especially annoying when people quote the video, as I then get multiple videos autoplaying out of sync with each other, creating an auditory mess. I have to then start scrolling around that page trying to find the offending videos and click on them individually to stop them, including expanding quoted posts to get to them. I'm using Chrome, not sure if that makes any difference.
@Inside Job reported that Reddit videos often won't work for him on his combo of browser/device.

it has such a small selection of gifsThe giphy button isn't working for me this week.
I can't remember if you said something about that. If you did. I'm dumb. If not. Well then I'm reporting a fresh issue. Chrome for Android.

I did so, it still autoplays but not with sound, much more sociabledo it in an incognito window

Aha! Just checked, I had autoplay enabled on Reddit, I wasn't logged in though, hadn't been on there in over a month. Let me refresh and see what's what.I think it's something with your reddit settings. I assume you're logged into a Reddit account. Go poke around your account and see if there's a way to turn off sound on auto load videos.
All I do is stick the video in a frame and show it. So if you're logged in your settings are applying
