My buddy, Jeff, used to work security for "private dancers" years ago.
He definitely lived that same lifestyle at night. He worked a solid day job though which made it seem ok.
Then the night job led to heroin addiction.
He finally stopped that job and kicked the habit.
Got married, had a couple kids, bought an apartment complex.
Relapsed. Started drinking super heavily.
Died in his sleep at 37. Combo of heroin and alcohol poison.
