I’m by no means an expert but I do prescribe TRT to patients at my practice. Been doing it for a little under a year so not an expert but I do know quite a bit about it…

Not the eurologist. The gen. practitioner said that. I was referred to eurologist for elevated psa which turned out to be nothing. So now we’re addressing this. Not sure if the two separate tests are to satisfy insurance or DEA. Lol

I get it. I’m from the old place. lol. When i was younger I probably would have done TRT for appearance and bjj. A week or two ago, I had to watch a little porn to see if my dick still worked. It had been a week or two since I had had a hardon.
you are gay bro. the first clue should have been you were an OGer

I don’t think I ever commented on COVID vaccines on this board. I have said and will repeatedly say that childhood vaccines do much more good than harm.

Given the data we had at the time, I would probably get the COVID vaccine again but had I known then what I know now, I probably wouldn’t. It is not black and white, there was a lot to consider at the time. I’ve never said any vaccine ever was 100% safe.

not sure how any of this relates to TRT though.

Dude. That is hupogonadal unless you are 80. The FDA limit is below 300, two different values in two different days l. Insurance would cover it. Your urologist is a moron if he said that was normal.
My result from Day 1 was 191. Normal is down to 175!!! Wtf?? Im so frustrated over this!!

Out of pocket isn't that expensive. I am on 1cc a week and it's under $50 a month. I inject myself in the thigh muscle. Best money I spend each month. I am 58, and my total level runs around 800. Huge difference in how I feel if I take a break from it and miss a few shots.

Your doc is a fucking retard…
In his defense, I haven’t spoken to him yet. Hell, I haven’t even gotten my second test results yet. I was just going off the portal saying it was in the “normal” range, and thought that would be an instant disqualification.

Do you get it through a doctor or online?

Fellow TRT patient here, so I know you must feel like shit with levels sub-200. Mine was about where you're at when my Urologist put me on it, and my insurance covered it (but that was 5-6 years ago). If this one won't prescribe it, I would make appt's with multiple Urologists until you find one that will. If they're hesitant because insurance won't cover it, then that sucks. I imagine out of pocket costs aren't great.

Once you get on it, make sure to give blood every 8 weeks, to help your Hemoglobin levels stay below 17-18. I failed to do that, my blood got thick, and I had a minor stroke that caused atrophy to my optic nerve & impaired my vision (double vision) for 2-3 months. Thankfully it corrected on it's own. Now that I give blood regularly, my levels are 14-15.

I wrecked my hormone levels by doing hard steroid cycles in my 20's. It didn't catch up to me until my mid-40's. I take .7 ml weekly and my levels stay in the 700-750 range and the benefits are amazing. So much more energy, better sleep, increased libido, weight loss & muscle gain, improved mental state (my moods were all over the place), etc. Pre-TRT, I just felt like shit all the time, so I can empathize with you. I hope you find someone who will prescribe it.
