A friend of mine went through the Top Gun program. I didn't know him when he did it - met him after when he was racing hydroplanes.

He said he didn't have a call sign. Lame.

Our pilots didn't have call signs. We got some new night vision goggles and the sun called us the Jedi sqn. 1450 missions (most ever) without missing. I like top gun, 1 sqn are better.
