Weren't there reports last year of an aggressive pod that were sinking boats, was off the coast of Portugal IIRC

Sketchiest fixed wing landing I was ever on was a little airstrip in Napa Valley. Basically sea level, crazy crosswinds. At 1 point we were sideways to the runway with sero forward movement, just hanging there like a seagull until the pilot just cut power and splatted us on the runway all bushpilot style. It was wild, never had a landing like that.

We had to get back out quicker than we wanted because the Santa Ana's had started a brush fire and they were about to close local airspace for aerial fire suppression. We we're the only ones they let out.

Crane failure nearly resulted in this guy becoming the consistency of strawberry jam:



I don't think a hard hat would have helped there.

Riding on a track looks like it would be fun, but I didn't know there was a constant clanging, that would ruin the experience. Giant bears mauling me wouldn't be so great either.
