So you were flying in for work or pleasure? The airport any different after the crash?
For work. They closed Runway 33, the short one the were landing on. A few big boats in the river. That’s all I saw.

It's sad that a plane full of innocent people had to die, but maybe the silver lining it will be the final nail in the coffin to DEI, especially in areas where competitency really matters.

Just look what this ghetto ass bitch proposed in 2023

"Furthermore, over 80% of American pilots are white - further contributing to our pilot shortage. That's why I'm supporting legislation to attract more young Americans of diverse backgrounds into pilot training programs, including scholarships to Historically Black Colleges and Universities with aviation programs"

As for the female pilot of the Blackhawk, sometimes you can indeed tell a lot from photos, and no way should she be a pilot.

Just for the record, I have flown with many females and have never had a single problem with any of their skills as an aviator.

Yep, I was going to say that I don't condone hiring people for the sake of DEI, but I also don't agree with hiring for the sake against DEI. If they are the best candidate, they make your team stronger and deserve the job.

I work in a very different field than you, but that has been my experience. A lot of people get hired for no good reason, continuously under perform, and have job security because their race/religion/sex/etc. is different than mine. Meanwhile, people that are also a different race/religion/sex/etc. than me don't get hired because those quotas have been met, so white guys get hired. That's just a dumb way to build a workforce to me. Soros' kid disagrees I guess.

While true, due to DEI, many will automatically question their abilities, whether female or some other DEI checklist.

Statement by NTSB from that video:

"Initial analysis found that at least one Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (or TCAS) resolution advisory was triggered per month from 2011 through 2024 at DCA, due to proximity to a helicopter."

At least one per month for 14 years??? Biggest surprise is that it took that long to have an actual collision.

Given the flight path restrictions in DC, it's almost like DCA occupies an extremely shitty location and should probably go away.
