I went on a cruise with my ex wife in 2007. First and last. It was a miserable experience. Ex was sea sick the entire time, it was semi entertaining to watch her puke for four days. We divorced shortly after, I guess she didn't find her puking as entertaining as I did.

There's a subset of some elderly people that actually retire on cruise ships.

i.e. - instead of having a permanent home, they get rid of most of their stuff, put what's left in storage, and spend almost all their time going from extended cruise to extended cruise, with the thought being that the "all inclusive" nature of the pricing ends up being cheaper (or at least preferable) to housing, utilities, food, etc.

For certain kinds of people I can totally see something like that making sense.

But then what? At some point, if you live long enough, that isn't going to work anymore.
And what about consistent health care for all these 70 year old out there?

I've only been on 1 Cruz in my life.
It was the best holiday I've ever been on by far.
I have nothing negative to say.
I thought there would be a few things that I wouldn't like and they were non issues. Ie- clearing in and out of customs at stops , not being a people person, potentially unfriendly staff.
Got the drinks package. It was cheap as fuck. Basically all you can eat drink for 10 day's and had shit to do so it wasn't boring at all.
It's the only holiday I've ever been on with absolutely zero stress, like airports ect . I hate airports.

The poo cruise is live. Film is less than hour, which feels like a rip off.

Do better Netflix.
Any longer and I'd have been looking at my watch wondering when it was going to be over. Wasn't a terribly interesting story, tbh.

The Rob Ford documentary last week was tremendous.
