Someone needs to - TKO as an entity only profited $6.4 million in 2024 - and that's out of $2.8 BILLION in revenue. The WWE side is at least making money though.
One of the big problems with leveraging debt to buy multi-billion dollar companies.Someone needs to - TKO as an entity only profited $6.4 million in 2024 - and that's out of $2.8 BILLION in revenue.
I didn't look at any of the financial statements but that musta been some SERIOUS early interest, as the 6.4 was some $169+ million less profit than 2023.One of the big problems with leveraging debt to buy multi-billion dollar companies.
Yeah... Rumble in Saudi is a pure profit move.I didn't look at any of the financial statements but that musta been some SERIOUS early interest, as the 6.4 was some $169+ million less profit than 2023.
We'll see if TKO can do something with the interest so as to increase profit in the next year or two, as we all know they're just looking to flip the whole thing.
Or maybe that's why they're deepening their relationship with Saudi - so as to not need as spectacular of numbers on the open market & just sell to them.
I know, but Chad's a big fan. I'm saying it makes sense that Chad would have an El Grande Americano costume.Because Chad Gable and El Grande Americano are quite obviously two different people.
duh
That's net profit. So after everyone is paid and they've done all their Hollywood accounting, that's what they show.Someone needs to - TKO as an entity only profited $6.4 million in 2024 - and that's out of $2.8 BILLION in revenue.
I know - and it's still atrocious. We're talking .2% (<==not a typo) of total revenue. That's net profit. So after everyone is paid and they've done all their Hollywood accounting, that's what they show.
They paid Vince like $2billion dollars last year.I know - and it's still atrocious. We're talking .2% (<==not a typo) of total revenue.
An even wilder stat is that while net profit was only $6.4 million, EBITDA was still $1.2 billion. So salaries aren't the huge factor here.
And since their net profit was $170+ million in 2023, as@Chrit referenced above, it musta been from a FUCKLOAD of interest on the loans used to buy the companies, considering unless there was some *really* funky accounting going on, taxes, depreciation & amortization wouldn't swing that wildly in one year.
But why?
Cash in, maybe?But why?
They ain't gonna put a strap on Goldberg in his final match...unless they plan on letting him retire with it, and then do some sort of TK-style tourney to decide who gets it afterwards.
That's a good call...then I could see them doing it.Cash in, maybe?
I think its the only way out of the mess. That's a good call...then I could see them doing it.
I can dig it.I think its the only way out of the mess.
Then Goldberg can win his last match... cause he's an egotistical cunt... and Rollins' faction can get over more being the shitheels that ruin the big sendoff.
I just read he has some backstage heat already lolWho's ready for the big Mr. Iguana push?
