they have a liability waiver but it's nothing like that one in the Bellator contract from what I remember. UFC contracts have been posted many times online so I am pretty confident that if they had a death waiver it would've been noticed, but I'll try to find out anyway.

As bad as it sounds, I am not sure I have an issue with a death waiver, I bet most companies do this with high risk endeavors.

Seems the story was removed from all the major MMA sites so I'm presuming the death waiver is in all MMA contracts. They interviewed Coker about that contract but only mentioned the $250 pay, which he (or the interviewer) claimed was a mistake on Bellator's part.

my bad

I just remember when the story broke and I hadn't "followed up" on it until now :(

Good for him. He has great tattoos and has a build similar to my own. I wish him the best.

This is why I think Coker is a better promoter than Dana, both Huerta and Gerald Harris stepped up and took late notice fights against killer comp and both had 1 fight contracts, both lost, and both got rewarded with long contracts.

Dana, WME, take notes fuckers
It proves Coker is a nicer guy than Dana. But signing up guys like Huerta and Harris long term - two aging fighters who have consistently proven they're not competitive on the elite stage - does not make you a better promoter, sorry.

I disagee, it shows the fighters that if you put your neck out there you will be taken care of and other fighters who are FA's notice this
