if he'd made weight within the time limit would the commission have still fined him 20% of his purse? it's my understanding that as long as he makes weight in that window it counts as him making weight, period. Them reducing the time seems ridiculous but they must have a reason, just wish they'd stop behaving like a secret ordo and fucking tell us what's going on lol

Apparently the yoel brought in George Lockhart for the cut, but only 3 days before the day ends. He apparently uses a 10-day process for cutting weight.

Yoel was too big weeks out obviously and then half-assed the weight cut game at the end.

Yeah the UFC needs consistency. All the commissions should be applying the same rules
every time. Different rules for different commissions only causes more issues
