Shooto fighter Yuki Yamamoto kills another man after violent confrontation

"Tragic news has transpired from Asia this weekend that Japanese MMA fighter, Yuki Yamamoto, has killed another man, named by nikkei.com as twenty-three year old, Ariyen Nagasawa. Mr Nagasawa reportedly worked at the same restaurant as Yamamoto’s girlfriend. Reports suggest the incident happened at Yamamoto’s apartment at around 2:30am on June 30.

"According to fnn-news.com,Yamamoto, who was unprovoked, kicked Nagasawa, causing him to fall hard and hit his head on the wall at the front doors of Yamamoto’s residence. The fall was so hard it lead to a subarachnoid haemorrhage on the brain. The damage turned out to be so traumatic that it would later go on to cause Nagasawa to lose his life...."

I used to work in a bar. When I first started there there was a mother and her daughter who worked there too. (Daughter was same year as me at school) well they had another member of thier family that was a guy couple years older than me. Everyone called him Billy but it was a nickname and I can't remember the origins.

Well I remember one summer Billy was out of work but he used to come in the pub and I'd bullshit with him and my boss was helping him with his resume and jobsearch. All summer pretty much.

Anyways a year later I was in the Navy and on leave. I remember getting to the pub one day and Billy had died was the breaking news.

Basically he'd been banging some older Chick, and one day her 15 or 16 year old kid had come home and caught them. Wasn't impressed because billy was probably 23 at this point. So he punched him. He hit his head on the fall and got taken to hospital. Woke up fine in hospital and signed himself out.

Got home, fell asleep on the couch and never woke up.

Honestly, I think as MMA fans we get desensitized to just how HORRIBLY BAD getting KO'd is. We constantly see guys get ktfo and enjoy it and move on when in reality getting ko'd or hitting ur head in general needs an immediate trip to the hospital to check for a subdural hymatoma becaus you can DIE real easy. Like way easier than u'd ever imagine.

I got a concussion last year and it is still plaguing me with some symtoms.

and isn't it possible he kicked the guy, the guy blocked it and fell over into the wall? cause you don't need to fall "hard" to crack your skull if you're unable to break your fall in time. Not saying Yamamoto isn't to blame, but there's a lot of ways that event could've played out and I don't feel like it could possibly have been unprovoked because his bird brought a work colleague home while drunk. I bet there is some history there too but I am speculating.

Let's take the worst case scenario: Your girl is a slut who brings home a disrespectful POS she has been fucking.

What do you do? You kick them out of your house. Violence is especially unneeded and a bad idea when you are a TRAINED fighter and the dude is a restaurant worker. Even in this scenario where a guy who is fucking your girl shows up with her and treats u like an a-hole, you are still wrong and STUPID for attacking a guy you can EASILY beat the dog crap out of.

And my guess? This worst case scenario wasn't the real situation by a long-shot.....
