I heard Wittman wants to hold onto the rights, but naturally UFC wants full control and to put cctv in Trevor's toilet pan as part of the deal. Trevor doesn't want them to review his shitted asshole, so has declined.
he's crazy though. who the fuck else is there to sell to after the UFC? fucking bellator? surely a deal with the UFC is the quickest, easiest and most efficient way of making a tonne of money off these fucking things.
I think the UFC wants to buy it outright and own everything, patent and all.
Trevor wants to own it and just sell the gloves so that anyone can buy them.
Both guys are coming from a position that best suits them.
The issue that makes me go, "Hmmm," is that you can't get the gloves anywhere right now.

If I was Whitman I'd be selling them as much as I could to get my money back on the development and get the gloves out there if I really wanted to sell them for the good of the sport like he says.
I think he's holding back so that it gives him bargaining power with the UFC.
