See that's why my hunch is that money and connections provide the privileges that can be measured. If someone is wealthy and connected, they can do whatever they want. I'm thinking of politicians in this regard.
But to put a positive spin on it and support my assertion, according to statistics in America people live longer in wealthier cities, regardless of ethnicity or gender.

Good point, it leads me to wonder what percentage of rural poor are caucasian. From my own experiences in Canada, the local RCMP (in various rural municipalities) are more inclined to "figure out" a way to keep the peace without locking people up every time they step out of bounds.

While I agree, I have to say if you take away the money aspect would it really tilt the numbers? Especially as major crimes like murder are concerned?
Well, if everybody had the money to defend themselves they would go for plea deals. That is for starters an increase of justice, regardless of the outcome. Justice isn't even there for all right now. We'll know once justice is truly for all.

Amber Pabon said her eight-year-old brought home the paper from Hunter Magnet Elementary School in Raleigh. The school said it was sent home with students by the PTA and was not a lesson taught in class.

It's one of those things that just because we think it exists, doesn't mean it does. It's divisive and as others have mentioned, it will swing the pendulum the other way, in time.
It's so obvious that this will happen that I have to wonder if it (this white-privilege bullshit) isn't by design.
