I remember when I saw the first movie years back it mentioned Police Squad!, I didn't realize it was an actual show. I've been watching the episodes, I like the movies more but it's only a 6 episode series so it's worth watching if you're a Naked Gun fan.

One of the greatest shows ever.
Nobody watched it. They actually filmed more and just stopped editing when they got canceled after 6 weeks or something.

A note, tied to a window, thrown in a rock garden is the greatest thing I'd ever seen on TV as a little kid. I remember almost hyperventilating laughing.

Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker wrote the pilot episode in which most straight lines were directly copied from an M Squad episode] The pilot episode is a near scene-for-scene remake of "More Deadly", the opening episode of the second season of M Squad.

I caught the last 25 minutes of the original Naked Gun last night. It was amazing and holds up well.

Hilarious that the last scene is them discarding OJ Simpson and he just launches over a railing to a fall from his wheelchair. Foreshadowing at it's best.

I've read three reviews and talk to two friends who have all seen it. They all agreed Liam and Pam are great, but the script is hit and miss.
