i wouldnt say it was a bloodbath at all. the CPC had the highest number of seats since the Harper 2011 election . the media and polls were calling for a liberal blow out for the last several weeks. it was not a blow out .it just wasnt the result people wanted
He also lost because he was "too closely associated with Trump". Americans, generally, really have no idea what the fuck goes on outside of the U.S. I don't blame them, it's just funny when they make shit up and pass it off as fact.

its crazy ...he was too closely associated with Trump but not associated with Trump at all. the CBC earns every dollar of their 1.8 billion budget . PP is simultaneously Trump jr and too weak to stand up to Trump at the same time . he is the canadian Trump yet the real Trump doesnt even like him and backs Carney . they have the boomers so worked up they thought this election was Carney vs Trump. i hope Trump starts calling him the governor of the 51st state again just to make them seethe

i think dougie want to drink beer up at the cottage when he is done being Premier . i dont think he has bigger aspirations. he was never supposed to come this far. he was meant to stay in his brothers shadow

I thought that until Monday's Politico interview. He was talking like he's the smartest guy in the room and Politico was talking up what a brilliant politician he is.
