I was in Dublin during the tournament and it was wild. The whole city was hammer drunk at 7 in the morning for the group matches.
I naturally adopted the Irish national team and Robbie Keane played like a maniac. I think he put up 2 goals against France. It was fun to watch the matches in the pubs.
Oliver Kahn was so intense, he would’ve made the best Die Hard bad guy.
Kahn even won best player. First time as a goalie I think.
