So make sure you login to the draft using a computer tonight and not a phone or tablet. After the draft, you can use phones/tablets to manage your teams for the rest of the season.

Tip 1 -

Team rosters are made up of 7 Contract Fighters / 1 Flex Fighter / 4 Bench slots. The Contract Fighters get one fight score per quarter and are locked in place until quarter-end once they fight. The Flex Fighter has no roster restrictions and can be turned over with every fight card. The Bench slots are for reserving fighters who fight in future quarters or for fighters that you are considering moving into Contract/Flex spots later in the current quarter. Fighters who are benched on fight night don't score points.

Try to draft at least 8 fighters who are currently scheduled to fight in Q1 (Aug-Oct) or have a chance at being scheduled, since the full quarter hasn't been announced yet by the UFC. And make sure one of those eight fighters is on the first fight card in August so he can be your first Flex Fighter:

The remaining four draft spots can be dedicated to bench fighters who will fight in Q2 or beyond (or additional Q1 fighters, if you want some flexibility in your active roster choices).

My general strategy is to focus on the best fighters in the first 3-4 rounds, regardless of when they fight, then to focus on rounding out my Q1 active roster the rest of the draft.

Upcoming Fight Schedule

The first fight event for the league season is UFC FN 114. This weekend's UFC 214 (Jones v Cormier II) card does not count for this league, since the season runs from Aug, 2017 - July, 2018.

This list is subject to change and addition. The late September and October cards haven't yet been filled and one or more cards may still be added. Keep that in mind when strategizing your Q1 fighter lineups.

**IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT TO THE DRAFT***

Don't sweat. We have an autodraft function that is very robust, where you can preset your picks and then the system will take the fighters remaining on your watchlist each time your draft turn arrives. Once your watchlist is exhausted, the system will then default to taking fighters based on the MagWar rankings. It works great if you can't be there for the draft.

Just make sure that if you set a watchlist in lieu of attending the draft, to also check the autodraft checkbox. Otherwise, we'll have to wait for your 90 second pick timer to tick down each time your turn arrives. If you check autodraft, your pick is made instantaneously each time it's your turn and the draft will go faster for us. Also, if you come into the draft late, you can uncheck autodraft and begin making manual picks for whatever rounds are left.

Okay, I'm not exactly sure yet why your watchlists disappeared, but we were able to restore them. My programmers were doing a last minute tweak to the draft module today (changing the column headers to display team names, rather than user names), so that could've been the cause, but we're going to do additional internal tesing after the draft tonight to see if we can replicate the issue.

For now, your watchlists are back, but I'm not 100% sure that the order is correct for each of them. Take a look and PM me if you need me to adjust the order in any way for you.

Unfortunately not. I thought about putting in that code and may do so if users let clocks expire more two picks in a row.

(Just to clarify, I mean adding the feature after this draft - not messing with the code while we're in the thick of it.)
