The Kevin costner Robin hood holds a special place in my heart tbh...I'd pebbly swap that with 300 as my part my top 5
This was on the the other day. I had to shut it off. It has not aged well at all. Not trying to shit in your punch but you need to know this

I went with Spartacus because it is historically significant & epic.
But of all listed and made, I enjoy watching this one certainly in the top 5.
Criminally underrated imo.

The movie 300 should not be on this list with classics like Gladiotor. 300 was basically a lot of fiction, and weird writing and putting makeup on Xerxes and shit, just a dumb move, only the special effects where good.

True but the entertainment value was top notch.
I get more frustrated with producers missing certain details with War flicks more than anything.

Sometimes I hear they do it on purpose for copy rights reasons and stuff

Now I will say, part of my bias is that I am Persian American, I will admit that but I have no idea why they decided to make Xerxes look like a 9 foot tall drag queen. The writing and lines where also really cheesy and not too creative. The special effects where cool but the movie I thought was crappy. The 2nd 300 movie they did, I don't remember the name of the movie but that was way better.

It’s because they were going off of the actual “300” comic of Frank Miller.

It’s different when u try to do with live actors but I think it was to carry over the feeling of epicness, especially Xerexes, known to conquer massive areas, his stature is portrayed such way

Also I look a bit like Xerxes but without the makeup
