There is a whole group of people that do this as a hobby, they try to find old movie locations and capture iconic shots. Keeps hitting my facebook feed all the time.

I wonder if that's in the famous Thirty Mile Zone? (That's what the initials TMZ stand for by the way).
There's a long standing rule that states that any filming more than 30 miles from downtown LA requires extra travel and inconvenience payments to be made to the cast and crew of a movie.
