Yeah, that was my thinking. I wanted to give myself the best chance to make a clean kill. I paid $240 for the Crossfire II, not bad for a Vortex. I like their glass and they stand behind their product. I sent my Leupold to my Step Dad back home. It’s only 4 years old and he’s been using the same fixed powered Redfield my grandpa used in the 60’s. Nothing wrong with Redfield but this things is bombed out and depleted.
