Kai is dangeous and has some good fights in the rest of the div but Pantoja’s striking looked a bit sharper today and has a granite chin - he took some big shots. The ground was the big diff as expected. Kai had some good TD defense for as long as it lasted, Pantojas scrambling ability is top notch.

Time for respect for Pantoja.

Fuck another fail at the title for Japan but hope Pantoja gets more respect finally. The guy fights like a maniac and has heart for days and a great underdog story to boot. That guy deserves some fucking respect.

I was thinking this whole time Horiguchi is the uncrowned king when Figgy was champ but forgot he’s team mates with Pantoja.

Uno, TK, Sakurai, Kondo, Okami, Horiguchi and now Asakura.

I think Horiguchi could possible beat Pantoja and probably would have beaten Figgy and Moreno. His footwork and tdd is better than Kai.
