Well, CC is pretty much thr best place in thr world for that. Heart surgeries are pretty incredible and often yield incredible results. Scary as hell though Best of luck with your recovery.

The surgery was only a month ago. So both current and what I referenced. I had my aorta removed and replaced with a graph from my leg. It was done at Cleveland Clinic who does a ton of them. Its a 8+ hour surgery.
My dad had a vein taken out of his leg to do a triple bypass back in the 80s, it gave him a new lease on life. He lived for over 25 years afterwards, and apart from the fact that he had poorer circulation in that leg afterwards (if he wore tight socks for a day, his calf and ankle on that leg looked like a chicken drumstick that evening lol), he found he could do more once healed up than he could before the surgery.

Here's hoping you have no further issues, and heal similarly.

I’ve met with OT and psych. Both say there isn’t any long term damage. There is some sort term things my brain will need to work out but nothing too bad. They said I’m doing too good to be able to stay for much longer as my insurance will cancel my stay if I try, so my last day in the hospital will be Friday. I have already be stepped down and then moved again to a rehab floor where they’re the ones who have to report my improvements they will caused me to be booted. They said if they report they I don’t need OT they will boot me right away so they will hold off. I got the option of staying until Thursday or Friday and took the longing stay just to be safe.
