Trump DOJ Ends Biden-Era Ban on Forced Reset Triggers
President Trump's DOJ will not maintain, enforce, or fight for, a ban on forced reset triggers put in place under the Biden administration.www.breitbart.com
King and Pierce counties are where most of the voters live. Most of the people that live in King county are transplants which make it like any other blue dot area on the west coast. Democrats have control of the House, Senate, and Governor's office. They've been doing shit like this for a long time.90% of Washington is rednecks, how the fuck does this happen?
The west coast is lost, the commies have overrun it.
I thought lawsuits didn't need an actual victim if they violate the constitution. As soon as they are signed into law, can't lawsuits start flying?A permit to purchase bill was signed by the governor today for WA state. It takes affect in 2027 which means there won't be an affected party until then which means no lawsuit against it until then.

Note: There is already a law here regarding locking up guns at home and in a vehicle. As well as a timeline to report lost or stolen guns. There are no rules about how to lock them up though, and there has never been a court case regarding this, so no case law. IIRC someone could claim their house is locked making everything in there being locked.
The more recent proposed bill defined rules about how firearms should be locked which is basically a copy and paste of what CA has (which is basically how WA writes gun related bills).
I'm no expert, but I believe there needs to be a victim. Maybe it is different if it challenged at the federal level.I thought lawsuits didn't need an actual victim if they violate the constitution. As soon as they are signed into law, can't lawsuits start flying?
Since it will violate everyone's constitutional right within the state, I don't believe they need to wait for the implementation before filing lawsuits. I think signing it does the trick, as there are no more further steps. Maybe I'm wrong? GOA and NRA usually file their lawsuits within a few days to a week.I'm no expert, but I believe there needs to be a victim. Maybe it is different if it challenged at the federal level.
Hasn't a permit to purchase been ruled on by the SCOTUS already? AFAIK, Chicago has had that for a long time. I'm sure it'll be challenged at some point, and I agree it violates the US constitution.
That was a different bill from prior years.![]()
NRA joins legal fight challenging Washington's assault weapons ban
Less than 24 hours after Gov. Jay Inslee signed Washington's ban on assault weapons into law, three lawsuits have emerged that aim to challenge the new law in court.www.kuow.org
NRA filed this lawsuit within 24 hours after it was signed into law. Pretty sure that's all that is needed. Working through the bullshit liberal court system before getting it to the supreme court is an entirely different story.
Yes, I was using it as an example of how quickly they act after a law is signed. They don't wait for implementation. That was a different bill from prior years.
That's sick. Did you get it in 44? I really like revolvers but have never bought one.Just picked this up:

Yeah, that’s the Anaconda, .44 Mag. Love a large caliber wheel gun but haven’t owned one since I sold my Ruger Blackhawk .41 Mag 40 years ago. I kind of waffled between the Anaconda and the Python, but went with the bigger one. They were same price. Compensatin’ ‘n’ shit, y’know? I may snag the Python at some point just to have one. That's sick. Did you get it in 44? I really like revolvers but have never bought one.
It comes in 45 colt too I think. The Python is nice too. I've had my eye on the S&W 500. Nothing practical about it, but it's just cool. None of the indoor ranges around here will allow you to shoot it, but the videos of it vaporizing watermelons makes the novelty worth it.Yeah, that’s the Anaconda, .44 Mag. I had been thinking about .454 Casull, either Taurus Raging Hunter or Ruger Super Redhawk, but I figured I’d probably never shoot more than a box of .454 and the rest of the time I’d be shooting .45 Colt, so I said screw it and went with the .44.
I saw a video where a guy referenced them shooting .45 Colt. I did not realize they came in that caliber. Probably could have ordered one.It comes in 45 colt too I think. The Python is nice too.
