They're two movies I can't stand. I know they're good but I could never watch them more than once because they're so sad. Armageddon was another one.
Armageddon is a guilty pleasure. I watch it any time its on. It's so bloody cheesy and ridiculous. Anything that could possibly go wrong, goes wrong. The over the top, cliche lines. "Gonna have to break that promise to you baby girl"
"I always thought of you as a son CJ"
Corn to the max but entertaining time killer.

I really liked Michael C Duncan too, bless him. Another reason I couldn't watch Green Mile more than once. I was gutted when he popped his clogs. I'm a sucker for Ben Affleck in most movies too since I'm such a Kevin Smith fan so Armageddon was never going to work for me, lol.

I thought that was some kids book? The kids who set up a society on a deserted island?

They made 2 movies?
Yes that's right, the second one is after they reach adolescence. A boat of hoes shows up, adrift from a drug cartel attack, and the ladies start to choose sides, then one group decides they want all the hoes and the war picks up again.

I’m gonna go and watch 2.....do I need to watch 1 to get 2?

No, part 2 really takes on it's own mood and the characters are different from who they had been. If you want to watch the "evolution" of their character then that's on you.

I've watched Se7en a bunch of times too, I used to love that movie till I found out what a wanker Gwyneth Paltrow was.

Can’t wait.....I want to understand the juxtaposition of their inner feelings against the backdrop of whores clamouring for more carnal interludes against their overall moral turpitude......

probably Blues Brothers, just because I always catch it on late night movie channels.

and it's the best movie in the history of the world.
