Julien Williams (pro fighter too) is his main coach and now Jacare is there full time too so Perry, Alex Nicholson and Perry's other cornerman Phil Rowe are all learning together under those guys. Perhaps it's the sparring where he's been missing out, but it looked like he'd regressed in the Max Griffin fight, especially if you compare it to his UFC debut against Hyun Gyu Lim.
