I rotate between using thousand island,bbq or ketchup on fries.

They'll like home made froes, not crispy at all. All those kinds of fries are good with salt and vinegar, even malt vinegar.
As far as ketchup it's great for flavoured chips, crispy fries, burgers and dogs. Oh and I took my kids to Swiss Chalet after we talked about it last week. They were pretty impressed with my chicken on a kasier .

Any time I watch drag racing at a strip this is how I do it. It's pretty much the only time I eat my fries this way.
