Not A Lurker

Years ago I had a friend that was getting food stamps, he would use it to buy lobster and filet mignon. Her shopping cart sounds looks like the modern times equivalent except she didn't buy any real food. The only thing in that cart that she actually needed was the laundry detergent (and there are cheaper options than Tide), everything else are things you buy when you can afford it.

yep, I guarantee I could go to wal mart with 100 dollars and actually have several bags of food. It is going to be processed, but it will provide several days of meals instead of gogurt. Fuck, spaghetti and sauce alone would provide a weeks worth of meals.
Walmart has 5lbs bags of chicken drumsticks for roughly $5.75 and 10lbs bags of russet potatoes for about $6.50.

Consider two bags of drumsticks, one bag of potatoes, a few bucks for generic water flavoring powder, a dozen eggs (even at today's prices) and even a family sized thing of ice cream, and you have enough to feed an entire family (including dessert) for at least a week for roughly $25-30.

Better yet, get those wool balls or whatever they are. I bought two and the fuckers are still working good 6 months later.
Those sheets are a fire hazard. They collect lint and stick. To the dryer vent hose. We switched to wool balls years ago.

Especially if your venting. Goes through the attic or any kind of long run. To the outside.

I had to deal with this bullshit in Florida for 20 years. Straight up and through the attic. Roofers installed a new vent cap and didn't bother to remove the plastic protector. I didn't find out until I poked through it with a vent brush. We're lucky the house didn't burn down.

But lets be honest, big laundry is telling us we need softening liquid or softener sheets. It's all bullshit.

I just used my last dryer sheet last night. What are these woo balls, is this something I should get instead of moving toward investing in another box of dryer sheets?

The only thing I care about is that the clothes aren't all full of static when I put them on... unless I'm playing superheroes, then I need that power.

y
Her eyes dart around when she's looking for excuses to justify her ignorance
yep, I assume recording on tiktok is the same as your camera phone, it's a reverse image, she is looking up to the right, classic body language she is trying to construct a lie/excuse.

Her explanation makes it even worse... because she started the whole thing by saying that she had to sell her kid's playhouse to buy that crap.

when Covid started and nobody knew what going to happen I bought a massive bag of rice, some pasta, dried beans, and some cheap condiments. It cost me $30 and I could’ve lived off of that for at least a month.

People are too comfortable and they think fruit roll up’s and shit are a necessity for life. Even some of my own family are retarded. Green peppers were low in my town and they were all freaking out. So eat something else, fuck me!

No toilet paper? Take a shower. Wipe your ass with a free newspaper. Use paper towel. Use a fucking rag. People in general are retards when it gets difficult. I could live on very little if I had to. I think it’s actually kind of fun to struggle. It shows you who you really are. When you never struggle you think you can cope until it happens and you immediately fall apart.
