Because Conor seems to get to a lot of people with it. They take it really seriously, like they do with pro-wrestling. And it totally bums them out.

Do you consider yourself in that group of people that take Conor's words very seriously that it upsets you, and use his words in arguments as if they were truly meant by McGregor? I just wonder about the mindset of this sort of fan. Especially considering one of his former opponents, Aldo who very much recognizes his rival's schtick and takes it all in stride. But fans are still hurt and left behind.

I just like pointing out it's all hypocrisy when it becomes clear he has shit talked himself.

It's the game he plays, it requires consistency between his actions and his insults about others, it opens him to hilarious ridicule when he is inconsistent about it.

...and Aldo is a bumbling mess on the subject of Conor, 4 months ago he threatened an attack on sight street fight, then this week he saids it's all fun & games.

Let's face facts, Conor talks shit without regard to facts or being fact-checked, he does it for primarily one reason: get into his opponent's head. If his opponent believes his bullshit, he has an advantage.
