Stephen A Smith is saying NFL owners are colluding against him like they did Colin Kaepernick.

lol...what?
While it’s plain for me to see why he fell so low, after he dropped out of the second round, it did start to feel like collusion.

Also, I feel like he could really benefit from a publicist. Is it wrong to release a statement saying something along the lines of this situation has forced me to take a hard look at myself and how I conduct business”?? Or is that just groveling to whitey??

It's not collusion if the teams all came to the same conclusion based on the same evidence.

Like others have said, if you believed that he would be your franchise QB then you take him in the 1st.

As a backup, or developmental pick? With all the baggage and circus that he and his family bring? Not so much, unless he falls far.

Gotta give credit where it's due though. Shedur's public response to that was all class. He was mature and took the high road
If he is gonna have a chance, he needs to drop the ego. Gotta train, eat, sleep football...any time spent hyping your brand is unacceptable. That is why you dropped.
That is what the NFL wants out of him, to only spend energy on learning and executing.
Hopefully his Dad can step back out of the picture and realize that is the best thing for his son.

It was time for a reality check sit-down and complete evaluation of the Ego that put them in that situation.

Which, I agree, is a huge, long, shot.

IF there was no media hype social media people would have said "cool, this is Deion Sanders son? lets take a shot on him", but they had to attach all that baggage and attention/ego.

I think there's gonna be some weird shit between Deion and the coaching staff. It really is up to him to chill out or ruin his son's career.
