Doubles are fine. I just wanted to take out the option to just have a band's best songs on one album.double albums OK? or does it have to be a standard album?
Great choice! If it has to last the rest of my life, I'll take George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass". Quantity and Quality, a triple album released within 6 months of when Beatles break-up became official.
Imagine how much artistic vision was pent up inside of Harrison for all those years with the Beatles, and then to have it explode in one huge shot in 1970, with Phil Spector lighting a Wall-of-Sound fuse that was soaked with Pet Sounds.
It's an album that has so much going on, I feel like I could listen to it for years and never gain a full appreciation for it.
You're dead to me!
Thought we established this...although it was when you were hooked on xanax and probably irrevocably damaged your long term memory, so I'll give you a pass.Lol why? You not an Eagles fan?
The crazy thing is, I grew up on 80's R&B, 90's rap, country in the 2000's...and I still listen to all of it to this day. I didn't really start listening to the Eagles until about a year ago, and I can't even remember what piqued my interest. But I fell in love with their music and their story. Then I learned that Hotel California is the highest selling album of all-time. I honestly had no clue lol. Then I also learned that people seem to either love the Eagles, or hate em.Thought we established this...although it was when you were hooked on xanax and probably irrevocably damaged your long term memory, so I'll give you a pass.
I'm sure your "pal" @Lars LeDouche is climbing out of the passenger seat of your miata and will be here shortly to defend your and those eagle's honor.
*I don't hate them, but its funner if le douche thinks I do. Shhhhhh!
Well its definitely preferable to that Color Me Badd album you were peddling on the similar thread, back just after startup of tmmac, somehow a bunch of really good threads got deleted...I smell a conspiracy. The crazy thing is, I grew up on 80's R&B, 90's rap, country in the 2000's...and I still listen to all of it to this day. I don't know how anyone can hate the Eagles. Incredibly talented musicians with an impressive library of tunes. They aren't my favorite band, but I'm not going to yell at anyone for playing them. Then I also learned that people seem to either love the Eagles, or hate em.
This artwork reminds me of the Iron Maiden Powerslave album.
