The knife guy has an account here, just never logs on. He does some quality work.
Good to know...he really does do some great work
As you know I am friendly with folks from both sites...and also have some guys that really dislike me on both sites

A freaking 13 inch bowie knife LOL

Too many Alphas on the UG. I came here because it has a nice relaxed beta/Incel vibe.

I’m still welcome on the UG but I stay here for the hot mods who love to party.

Was a member on the UG for a few years but rarely ever posted. At the 2013 UFC expo they offered free blue names and I got one. I made a thread of all my photos at the time and offered advice to people on how to maximize attending a ufc event. I helped out La Paix @BirdWatcher for his trip to UFC 182. About a month later he messaged me and thought that I’d fit in well with this place. After signing up I asked Wild @Wild if he’d mind me posting a ton of photos here. A few months later after being nicely welcomed Priziesthorse @Priziesthorse made me aware of and convinced me to enter the HBO sports biggest fan contest. Since becoming a member here my life around the Mma world has been pretty damn awesome.

I joined because I heard that neck beard Drake moved over here, and I wanted to give him shit for when Randa Markos got her ass beat by Alexa Grasso.

Decided to stay. it's not bad. Wish it were more active.

It can only be more active by having members post more often.

Post more often.

a friend told me there is a magical place where Joe Rogan, Kenny Florian, Joe Lauzon and other fighters post regularly and you can even talk to them. Also told me the Kimbo / Gannon fight was put together there, also read an article about some underground MMA site that helped the sport to grow, so I joined that UGh place thinking I want to be part of the history too. That was back in 08'

after lurking for little bit, I thought I should be more engaged, started arguing with people, wasting my entire day trying to show and tell, and for most, I'd end up reading dumb threads like, "calling out fake fighter and making them eat peepee" and became a low-key troll.

not going to lie, some of the troll shit had me entertained and was funny but too much at times, and noticed on some threads, almost every posts were trolls.

Then Lloyd Irvin shit happened, June White shit, I forgot there was one more but started losing interest on reading the discussions. I wasn't aware of the schilling since I just wanted all people in the world to love me at the time, but the same friend who introduced me to the UGh... gave me a breakdown of what was going on and he stopped posting on the UGh for awhile.

So I was not posting, lurking around the Ugh and SD to read the MMA news, but didn't really float my boat, and was stuck in this interval period of not caring for MMA discussions.

Then the same friend told me about this new MMA site, created by I think then, "Wild Each IT" (from the poor translation of Wanderlei Silva's rant). He told me it's the new and real magical place, where most of the old UGh people parted ways and created their own, where you can post without paying, as much as you want, people are friendly and nice, and they cover all MMA, not just uFc, so I checked it out.

I checked out TMMAC, at first, I wasn't feeling it. THere were too many damn rules. I lurked and started reading only the news from TMMAC. Then I joined, started posting, everything was too smooth and easy. It was weird, almost too good to be true. Then TMMAC started growing on me, more and more. So I stayed...

What I like about TMMAC is that you'll get what you put in. If you're a good poster who posts good credible information and perspective, you'll be known as a good poster with the rating system. If you're a troll, shitpost all the time, you'll get the SHIT rating. TMMAC guideline's emphasis on not to attack the person, instead, respond to the post, sounds cheesy but helped me grow as a person in a way that I now know how to separate a person's single action and the real person behind the closed doors, in politics, performances, mistakes, gestures, and other facets of life.

I should really learn how to summarize, I end up writing a novel when others could explain the same in like 2 sentences but that's why TMMAC is so awesome cuz you can even press "IGNORE" :D if you don't want to deal with a certain individual.

Thanks Wild @Wild @Splinty and everyone who was involved with creating this awesome platform where people from all walks of life can cross paths to discuss, share new and old ideas, or just simply enjoy the awesome sport (FIGHTS) that we all love

I'm a pretty hip, pretty trendy young guy just like most of you, and like most I wanted to be where it was happening and be there early. Once I saw that all the cool kids were signing up here I just had to make the scene myself. My keen hipster intuition told me any place with dedicated scene makers and trend setters like Disciplined Galt @Headbutt on board was a place that was going places.

Maybe. I remember a lot of drama started by DrunkenGamer.
LOL he might have been the one who outed Robby as an internet reviewer of super geeky fantasy fiction. Robby was never seen again anywhere on the internet to my knowledge. It had to be one of the funniest and most devastating things I have ever witnessed on a forum. I'll never forget it.

Were you there when @conor mcgregor nut hugger chose Kamaru Usman by KO over Emil Meek in the Monster’s Pool? That was probably the craziest thing I’ve ever seen on a forum. @conor mcgregor nut hugger has never really recovered.

Then the same friend told me about this new MMA site, created by I think then, "Wild Each IT" (from the poor translation of Wanderlei Silva's rant).
The origin of "I wild each it" is from some random poster on the OG in a thread about women's Olympic beach volleyball of all things. The poster wrote "I wild each it lol that meets there naked" prompting a collective wtf and inquiries as to whether he'd just had a stroke. I remember it being one of those weird threads that would only be funny online and was truly hysterical. Pages later the guy shows up and explains he was either drunk or just quickly typing on his phone and the actual message was meant to be "I would watch it. That means they're naked!" This in reference to how scantily clad women's volleyball players are. So then a poster named Hocky Balboa went to a UFC and was captured on film during a fighter's walkout, possibly for the main event, wearing a UG tshirt with a huge sign that said the famois phrase. I think it may also have had a Werdum troll smile mask attached. It was one of the more meta moments in the UG's history.

So for that reason, our site is forever inextricably tied to the UG. Its culture is very different, but its co-founder's very name is steeped in UG lore. Thankfully he shortened it, which disassociates us somewhat.
