My 6.5 Grendel was a cheap build, so I didn’t get an adjustable gas block for it. It cycles suppressed and unsuppressed just fine with no issues. So I'm collecting parts for a 6.5 Grendel upper build.
I have the barrel, gas tube (both FREE from someone on another forum), muzzle brake, BCG, charging handle, dust cover/forward assist.
I think the only things I'm missing are gas block and handguard.
I've read that I don't need an adjustable gas block, but I'll get it if I need to.
For the handguard, I was thinking about getting it in a ghey blue color so I could easily distinguish it from the other uppers. Would that be TOO ghey? Like this:

In comparison, my .308 has an adjustable gas block, and you have to adjust the gas between suppressed and unsuppressed or it will have cycling issues.
