i think a good take away from tonight is going to be that we will be having another election within 18-24 months. it will be the harper minority years all over again. a couple positives that happened is jagmeet is gone. and this will be the final nail in the coffin of the PPC. time for something new to emerge on the right . CPC is weak and needs reform and PP is weak and gay and needs to be replaced .the CPC itself is weaker and gayer and needs to be abolished . Canada needs electoral reform. it was one of the main things trudeau ran on in 2015 ..which he immediately renegged as it was what kept him in power for so long .it will be interesting to see now what happens now that the Bloc holds the balance of power and not the dick sucking street shitter . will the frogs strong arm carney for massive gibs to quebec? will alberta start a real movement to leave or will it all be big online chatter that goes nowhere? it will be interesting to see what comes next in this fake and gay country

so somehow the conservatives gained 20 seats but are worse off than before? my local area has one riding that is still being contested but it looks like it will flip liberal .it has only been a liberal riding one other time in history ...when trudeau won in 2015 . my riding went conservative as our MP has been sitting since 2011 and is on his 5th term. the longer the count goes on the more it is looking like a Liberal majority is possible .unlike america there will be no way to pursue any talks of election irregularities or anything being fixed or rigged because all the institutions are strongly liberal including the senate and supreme court which will simply refuse to hear any cases against the govt as they did all thru covid . if the liberals reach majority status they can pass whatever bills they want uncontested so goodbye guns and goodbye internet . the usual way that conservatives win in this country is when the NDP does good and siphons votes away from the liberals. the NDP got decimated last night . a strong boomer sentiment of "we are going to fight trump" gave the liberals the boost they needed to push their WEF puppet central banker candidate to the top. also the CPC spent too much time pandering to the brownoids and pajeets . they are 3.7% of the population and every time you looked pierre had a turban on his head . what needed to be done is finding a way to flip downtown toronto ridings that actually matter strategically .all that pandering to the street shitters and they lost in surrey and brampton anyways . it looks like the CPC gained 20 seats but the liberals gained 10 while the Bloc lost 9 and the NDP went from holding the balance of power to being able to all ride together in a minivan as usual the PPC won zero seats and i hope it folds.they are unelectable even though they push the best message they are not a serious party . at the end of the day the boomers fucked us for the guy who wants to tax unrealized gains on their home equity because they dont like donald trump . this is a clown country ruled by clowns

I'd also imagine zero women voted for PP given that without his glasses he looks like the type of guy that slips a woman a roofie in a bar.

he 100% took off his glasses because he was being memed as milhouse van houten too
To be honest, it's a microcosm for why he lost. Most of the people who voted for him, were going to vote for the CPC if they ran a dog. Granted, I'd rather vote for a dog than most people I've had put before me, but nevertheless.

He took his glasses off the minute he was named leader. That means there was a think tank, and these consultant decided "He looks like a nerd. Get this glasses off and it projects strength!" Completely ignoring that people with glasses come off as less threatening (assuming they aren't wearing those chomo glasses that for some reason have come back into style)

So in an attempt to swing votes they took a dude who looks a bit nerdy, which would garner a level of sympathy from people, and took his glasses off and made him look like a sex offender.

Now look at that example, look how they ran the rest of the campaign and try to tell me I'm wrong.

they took PP from being the young finance critic who stood up and stunted on trudeau in the HoC and turned him in to a castrated gimp. the CPC is the problem. they turned PP who was already nerdy in to erin o tool . the candidate they are trying to field is always going to be weak and spineless. they need someone who actually has charisma and strength who can flip strategic seats . as you said the CPC has a base that would vote for them no matter what ....but that base isnt in places needed to win . the west will always be blue . they need to win seats in the east . things need to get a whole lot worse before canada is willing to give up on its liberal boomer dreams

i wouldnt say it was a bloodbath at all. the CPC had the highest number of seats since the Harper 2011 election . the media and polls were calling for a liberal blow out for the last several weeks. it was not a blow out .it just wasnt the result people wanted
