Hunter Greene will start this season in the bigs for the Reds.

#2 overall pick in 2017.
In 2018 he fucked up his elbow (UCL) and eventually had Tommy John surgery which kept him out of 2019. The 2020 minor league season was cancelled due to Covid.

In 2021 he finished with an ERA of 3.30 (WHIP of 1.176); 139 Ks in 106.1 innings. AA and AAA.

Big league fastball of 100+; He's 22 years old.

Makes his debut on April 10 @ the Braves.
And if the rotation holds, his 2nd start is projected to be April 16 @ the Dodgers.

How's that for a trial by fire? MLB debut against two of the toughest lineups in baseball - both on the road.

They are getting rid of the stadium covid mandates so tickets should be way easier to get this year. I missed spring training though thanks bidens shenanigans my job has been playing catch up and I couldn't go to AZ.

I had a business trip to Arizona last month that would have perfectly aligned with catching some spring training games. But...They were on strike while I was there. So that sucked.

Damn that sucks. I got screwed by covid mandates last two spring training camps and now the shortened camp messed with me.
