All of the people saying Conor didn't deserve to get a shot at Aldo are gonna be super quiet at this one.

Has there been a less deserving title shot? Less than Tyron Woodley even. I love Hendo, but I will be really disappointed if this goes down.
Chael vs. Jones.

Chael vs. Jones.
While I agree that Chael didn't deserve his shot at Jones at all, I think the idea that it's as bad as Hendo getting one is highly questionable. The advantage that Hendo has is that he won his last fight before the shot and Chael didn't, but Chael's career was in a better place then than Hendo's is now. We are talking about a guy who will be 46 on fight night and 3-6 in his last 9 fights. He hasn't looked good in years; he's landed a couple of bombs that have extended his career but I'm legitimately worried for him when he fights.

Have to agree with much of the above.
Bisping being champion at the end of the year means a fairly significant sum of money for me (shared my £5 @ 200/1 bet on Twitter) - I have more but the missus doesn't need to know everything ;)

Obviously I want a slight injury and for him not to defend until January but if he does Hendo is my favoured opponent.
Purely from an odds perspective I think that's the only fight Bisping could be favourite for making my trade more profitable.

Can understand the 'reasons' he doesn't want to fight Luke or Chris but if I were Jacare I'd be pretty upset.
I think in US odds all 3 would be -400 and if he does get Hendo the UFC are effectively rewarding him for his service.
Good for me, strange decision for the division.
Great bet. When did you place that? Post or pre Rockhold?

Nah Chael was definitely less deserving. Hendo has a much stronger case both because he's coming off a win and because he obliterated the current champion in a legendary fight.

Chael had a decent run at Middleweight, but was coming off his second loss to Silva in a one sided drubbing. He had no business in there with Jones, even as a late replacement, as was ably proven by Jon finishing him with his toe hanging off.

Hendo's win was literally 100 UFCs ago and he's coming off of a win where he looked terrible until the very last strike. Chael didn't deserve his shot but he was nowhere near as far past his prime as Hendo is.
