Actually I thought Bisping at least has a title defense, against Hendo, I personally scored the fight a draw but Mike does have a title defense
That fight was a joke. I love Hendo but he wasn't in the top ten and was 46 years old and still put up a hell of a fight. I give more credit to Conor moving up in weight with no defenses over that. Nothing more than a "thanks for all the help Mike" fight.

Sorry man, I myself don't think Mike won the fight but I also dont think he lost it, it was a draw which is a defense technically anyways

Conor has 0, Mike has 1

Mike >Conor as a champ

I have nothing against Conor, I just can't stand when people just give him shit, let him earn it like every other champ does, Conor is not even a champ now, and rightfully so

He is right there with all of those who won a belt and never had a defense, weakest champ ever in org history, that is nothing to brag about

La Paix @BirdWatcher

Also Conor never moved up to 155, thats more bs. Conor came into the ufc as the Cage Warriors LW champ, when Conor went down to 145 he said for years how much bigger he was than the 145 er, how unfair it was for them and how he was fighting midgets, Conor at 155 is simply fighting guys his own size

Conor himself took a shit on his 145 comp by saying how much bigger he was and how they are all midgets.

Conor is actually a bit bigger than RDA, and was at least same size as Eddie . Conor was so drawn out at 145 it was shades of Rumble drainign himself earlier in his career

What's funny and telling is Conor in his own words was saying this during his entire 145 reign lol, it's revealing and honest and paints the real picture

I'm not arguing the result but the matchup itself. No way iicam give Mike full credit for the title defense.

Conor beat the FW GOAT who was the lineal champ, he should get big credit for that. He also beat the lineal LW in impressive fashion so again, more credit. I'm just as annoyed as not defending but that only with the LW title. I never expected him to defend the FW after moving up. The list of title holders in multiple divisions in very small with big names including McG.

Hey those are impressive wins, but at the end of the day the guy has 0 defenses and has the worst reign in ufc history as a champ, right there with the other few champs that never defended a belt. Compared to good fighters he stands out, but compared to great fighters he looks bad and weak.

He needs to earn it like all the other true champs have, surely if he is as good as you say you will, but I think deep down the Conor huggers know he is not on that level, which is why they try to already give him so much, they know he won't actually go and win the belt and defend the belt, so they try to spin it to say he already he is some kind of great, he is not even the best current champ, much less in the discussion for alltime.

If he beats Khabib I will vault him, all the way to top 30 maybe top 25, if he beats Khabib and gets a measly 3 defenses, top 15 maybe, I am not even gonna hold him to having to win 10 plus defenses but he needs to start earning it in the cage, and not throwing shit at people in a non fight situation. NoDoubt

Fair has nothing to do with it. What about a guy like AJ? He's looking like a HW now and is huge for LWH. Guys like Kenny F, Penn and Diego Sanchez were all over the place. The fighter and coaches need to weight risk reward when moving weight classes. It's a constant balancing act of give and take that I'm sure I don't need to list. Conor dropped like 25+ lbs to make FW so ya, he was bigger but that also came at the cost of other attributes. Nothing stopping every other LW to make the cut but will and determination of they think it's worth it.

Bigger doesn't mean better. Brock got destroyed by a much smaller Cai and Fedor made a career of beating bigger guys. Again nothing to do with fair. Technique beat size and the FW roster couldn't keep up. Also when he did fight guys his size he finished the champ.

None of that has anything to do with the fact that Conor himself went out of his way to tell us how much bigger, taller, stronger he was than all the fW's and that he was fighting midgets

Also, he came in the ufc as a LW let's not forget and is actually a very good sized lw

Conor himself took a shit on his 145 comp, I dont forget

Not worse, just as bad, it dont get worse than 0 defenses
I don't agree, I think who you beat to win the title is significant. GDR beating Holm who was coming off 2 losses is equal to McGregor beating Aldo who was on a long winning streak with 9 title defences?

A lot of the haters don't realize what an incredible accomplishment it was for Conor to beat up the World's Strongest Man, even if it was just in sparring/practice.

It was the real-life version of David vs Goliath.

Oh I agree that Conor beating Aldo and Eddie is way better than GDR beating Holm, Conor deserved both belts, what I am talking about is the reign, or lack of a reign.

0 defenses is still 0 defenses, GDR has a less deserving win, but she and Conor both have never dended the belt, that is what I am keying on

Nobody is forgetting that. He also called Nate skinny fat then lost to him. He called the entire LW slow, stuck in the mud too but that's not an excuse for him beating Eddie is it? Was Eddie's biggest reason for his loss was his lack of speed?

Some quotes from Bisping leading into THE GSP fight.

“He’s fought them multiple times. And if you go through the opponents. I mean, BJ Penn, who he fought twice or three times, he’s a featherweight, right? Johny Hendricks, I mean look at Johny Hendricks these days. But still..."

“Nick Diaz is a welterweight. Carlos Condit, oh, that’s a good win. Josh Koscheck, Dan Hardy, Thiago Alves — lightweight. BJ Penn — featherweight. Matt Serra — lightweight. These are all smaller guys.”

“He always had that strength and size advantage. Now, he’ll probably be stronger than me in this fight, I don’t doubt it. Because he lifts a lot of weights and he’s doing his amino acids every morning and this and that. He’s a real athlete. But I’m a bigger natural guy and he’s not gonna have that advantage. So yeah, he’s great and he’s beaten a lot of competition. But he’s had competition that has been suited toward him size-wise and skill-wise. This is a different matter.”

“He can be as big as he wants. He’s still gonna be the smallest little s*** that I’ve ever faced.”

You of all people should know that Conor talks for the sake of making money. Doesn't matter what he say, he made fun of Diaz for training kids then got subbed by him FFS. You've posted before that Conor is the trash talk king, to now spin trash talk into anything more than that is being facious.

LOL nothing in your post has anything to do wtih Conor having 0 defenses of his titles, and now you are putting up a gif of Bisping vs GSP, you are really reaching but not grabbing anything.

It does though. I'm posting that stuff because you are use using the reasoning that Conor was successful at FW due to his size and said that even Conor himself said these tings. If that is your reasoning then me posting that others have said this in the past and have lost so it holds no real value in your arguement.

I also included that your have said yourself Conor is king of trash talk and it's nothing more so to take his words as some sort of all truth now with his comments on being bigger is flip flopping. You are now moving the goal post back to him having no title defenses as your main talking point.

I posted some other champs to which you said we're about the same but not worse. We talked Bisping vs Hendo then you tagged me in lost #52 in an effort to strengthen your arguement using the Conor's big for FW angle which got us to GSP vs Bisping.

I not reaching for anything. I'm responding to your talking points giving examples from other fights.

Conor is the king of trash talk, but that is between fighters fighting, when he says he is a huge FW, are you saying he is not? LOL

Look at his reach, size, and frame at 145 compared to everyone else

Did he not enter the UFC as a lw champ, yes or no, I think we know the answer

Conor is awesome but compared to the fighters that defend titles, he is tiers below them

Ok so we agree on Conor trash talk, that's a start.

when he says he is a huge FW, are you saying he is not? LOL

Absolutely not, you'll find I've posted the opposite in the past. So again you're using his size advantage at FW to lessen his acheivements, yes? If so this is why I posted the Bisping vs GSP stuff. It's to show that size can be beat with technique and there's all kinds of examples we could both give. Ya Conor was a big FW, everyone knows this. Did it come at a cost of other factors? Of course it did. Every fighter has to find their sweet spot of size, speed, cardio and so on to perform at their best. Conor looked like Skelator on the scales but was still winning at FW. AJ made a huge cut and we now know he's better off fighting bigger guys now. Stephen Struve isn't considered unstoppable, neither was Bob Sapp.
